No, really. She watches TV. Sees people and animals on the screen and responds. Didn't believe it until I saw it either. But I watched her watching TV. She barks at dogs and cats and reacts to various people/characters.
She also seems to understand that you (or whomever) can control the pictures; she looks at the person with the remote as if she wants the picture changed, or wants another picture to come back. Yes, I'm projecting some here; but she looks at the person in the room when the picture changes.
I understand her understanding is limited, but it's interesting to witness. A dog that watches TV and has opinions. I've known of less-qualified critics.
