research on sleeping habits and influences on same. Of course, someone has, and I'd like to know why one awakens earlier than usual on week ends and holidays.
Saturday a.m. I'm up at five after about an hour rolling around and finally accepting that I'm not going back to sleep. Not that I felt awake or ready to be up; but flopping around in the bed wasn't good either.
So I flip on the TV for something to take up time, and I can assure you there's nothing on at five on a Saturday morning. Some old movies, of course, but there were none I cared about. I surfed up and down and discovered there are ways to lose weight in 30 days; improve my skin tone (meaning color and condition); save my hair from the abuse of modern living; lose weight AND tone my muscles in 90 days (those folks should hook up with the 30-day guys maybe). In addition to all these fine things, there were offered a myriad of other agents, solutions, fixes to assist me in my endeavors at personal improvement.
I don't recall, however, anyone interested in my mind; everyone wanted to fix my physical issues. Maybe the mental stuff is the late at night programming; not waiting up to find out. Seems the movie about genies and flying carpets could have been as much help as these offers. Switched to music and turned to the book I was reading. That is always a better choice.
Seems I was pretty tired Saturday evening and turned in early. AND .... you guessed it, I was up by 6:30 Sunday. That's the regular week day time; but I don't have to be anywhere Sunday by 8:00 a.m. and could've had some more sleep.
Rosey was telling me that one of her cats wakes her up every morning by patting her face with a paw. Sounds like other cats I've known. My roomies do not wake me up, but seem okay with waiting for me to get up. Thank you, girls; appreciate it.
I'll be looking for report on that research.
