is good thing to do. Got my driver's license renewed this a.m. with no problems. Same nice lady at the counter and no line. Found out the additional $4 is the County Clerk's fee, but there is nothing in the info from state that mentions such. Not to worry, you pay what you have to pay. Today was last day I could get the renewal and not be in difficulty since it's my birthday.
Rosey phoned this morning and sang to me; Oliver called me few minutes ago. Big Bro phoned last night. Co-worker left me voice mail on office phone this a.m. and J. called and sang to me (and she can really sing!) and we made dinner plans for week end. Other friends sent me messages through Facebook. Co-workers have all wished me a happy day. I've had an embarrassment of riches.
Everyone wants to know how old one is when one gets this old. My answer: 50-15. Perhaps if I get to 50-25 I'll have to rethink this approach.
Came across wonderful line in an Aunt Dimity mystery just finished. No one knows better than I that the road to true love is paved by the lowest bidder. That's going to be one of my all-time favs. How true it is.
Just starting ..... Potato Peel Society. No opinions yet. Library notified me that copy of Committed is available for me now. When it rains it pours. And I'm still reading an Agee book and Blink by Gladwell. No wonder I'm confused.
Children are giving me new computer for b'day. I'm researching and have not decided yet which one. A laptop certainly, but there're lots of choices. Associates in IT are providing good info; so I've got to identify one with things I want and at a good price. One indication of how old 50-15 is might be my lack of rushing into a computer purchase. I've bought cars with less work than this.
Well, it's been a good start for the coming year. Friends to see, books to read, movies to watch, places to go, family to love . . . . . . I'd add money to this mix, but it sure ain't necessary.
