I’ve gotten to the place that I’m ready to

write in a candidate for president.  I recommend Jon Huntsman for President of the United States. I am not anti-Obama; I am anti-Romney. And, instead of wrangling about why I cannot support either of those, I have decided for a third option.

I considered Ron Paul and believe there is much to recommend him, but I think he’s not the one for me.  I guess it’s Huntsman’s reasonableness, probably the reason he’s no longer pursuing election.

The country’s in a ‘mell of a hess’ to quote an old acquaintance and no one seems willing or able to do what needs to be done. I think there’s a lot of trouble ahead and none of us want to make the changes necessary although we’ll all pay the price for not acting appropriately.

I am not making predictions and, clearly, I do not have the answers. But I hope to God we can figure out the mess and avoid hell.
