When I look at the daily paper

which I usually see at the office, as I don't subscribe at home, I always look at the comics and the astrology column. Really, you can get good advice from a variety of places, or perhaps just some insight into the human condition.

Often I have a laugh at the comics and the astrology.  In Tuesday's paper the astrological advice for Pisces (my sign) was in bold, all bold. No other sign was printed in bold. Well, that got my attention and I thought the advice was sound: Spending lots of money is no assurance that you'll be guaranteed a good time. In fact, certain expensive activities can turn out to be bummers.

I guess the trip around the world is not a good idea and a trip the islands may not turn out to be pleasant. So, I won't tear off on an expensive vacation. Truthfully, a trip to Big Bro's is fun and costs very little. Why would I go to some resort?

But do you suppose it applies elsewhere as well? Let's see; the wish list I have on Amazon.com is ONLY a wish list, not items of necessity, even though many of them are mighty attractive.

Seems to me the folks writing (or is it compiling) the Astrograph are getting pushy. And how are they aware of my spending habits? I tell you, it ain't funny this time.
