more or less. Couple of gift cards en route via USPS; other gifts are in hand and will soon be wrapped. Another was shipped and delivered by blessed Amazon.com. Mandy and I created some bath salts that will be given away. I may yet do some herbal oils (for cooking).
List of things to take on trip to coast in the works. Will include food stuff (non-perishable), some music, couple of movies (wouldn't waste opportunity to annoy my adult children with my film choices, which are It's a Wonderful Life and Kelsey Grammer's A Christmas Carol, a pretty good musical version).
Am, amazingly, having some friends over on Dec 17 for eats, drinks and a movie (maybe one of the above mentioned) if we can settle down to view. However, talking and visiting over food is a good time, too.
Christmas tree is up. Wreath is on front of house (thanx to assistance--again-- from my fine young neighbor who got the blasted hook added to the siding--I could NOT get that thing put up so that it stayed and would hold a wreath!).
Will see the symphony orchestra's Christmas concert on Dec 16 and have been saturated with TV Christmas movies. And there's couple of Christmas stories in a stack of books waiting to be read. So much cheer I may need to take a break and watch or read a tragedy after Christmas. Matter of fact, I've got a bio of Oscar Wilde in those books that could clear out the happiness and good feelings.
Until I read a sad book or watch a film of a tragic story, I'll keep on feeling good, thank you.
