that go on and on, apparently to never be completed. OR, maybe one of those little statues sold in Christian book stores, showing a fellow coming up out of a lump of clay with the caption, 'be patient the Lord's not finished with me.'
The point being I've been working on my teeth my entire adult life (which is quite a few years, as we know) and I'm still repairing and replacing them. Appointment today with dentist, follow up from oral surgery to fit me for upper partial. It's good I can have my teeth fixed and can take steps to provide comfort and utility; just getting tired of doing it over and over.
Yes, that's an old song and enough's enough.
Yesterday, the eye doc finally used the words 'cataract surgery'. But by then he'd told me that I'm going to be fine; my vision has changed but not going out. Just that there're different things coming to the surface. I find it interesting that conditions that are in all likely hood congenital, are now becoming apparent. The cataracts are typical of aging and nothing to fret over, but they contribute to problems that seem more complex.
Again, things that can be managed, so get over it.
The evil twin residing in my head suggested that I'd worn my eyes out; the fact I've been reading with a magnifying bar may have given her justification. Eye doc says it ain't so. I'm leaning with him right now and telling the twin to 'shut up'.
Teeth can be replaced; eyes are a different matter. All around, things could be worse. I love reading and should be able to continue for years to come. Hallelujah!
