with them to the Outer Banks in September. We finally sat down this week end to discuss the whens and hows of this trip. Since Big Bro lives in NC, I go through that state periodically and have been to the Outer Banks twice. I love being on or near the water and the OB is a wonderful place for that.
We may not do everything together. One of us doesn't like being on the beach; couple of us do like that. But certainly a tour of lighthouses, or seeing the wild ponies, and various historic places and things provide plenty to share.
Seems everyone of us want to read, whether at the house or on the beach. Maybe some early morning or early evening walks near the water will offer some exercise and views of local scenery.
Frankly, it doesn't matter a great deal whether I'm watching the scenery, visiting sites, relaxing and reading, etc. I enjoy the company of these folk and I love being at the coast. I predict this will be a grand trip.
